Ardor is a decentralised blockchain platform that serves as blockchain-as-a-service medium with unique parent-child architecture. The product designed by Jelurida operates on a 100% proof of stake algorithm which means it guarantees higher security and moving forward to this new version 2.4.2 ensures a better user experience.
The new version is an important bug fix release to eliminate false fork alerts and resolve issues with the light client and installation on macOS. The light client can only now get transactions validated by the main peer and for the bug fix, all nodes are recommended to upgrade, this means being a multi-chain platform, the upgrade is applicable to both parent-chain and child-chain on the ardor network.
Also following the initial upgrade V2.4, the decentralised asset exchange has proved to be immensely user-centric, steadily upgrading clients’ experiences. Equally, decentralisation and transparency were the two distinctive features added to the previous version enabling flexible asset control and asset trade royalties.
