ABDC Series reschedules as Nigerian protests persists, to merge eighth series with twelfth

The African Blockchain Developers Call (ABDC), a web conference series aimed at increased participation and adoption of blockchain solutions, which has been held on the FLOOR Platform consistently for the past seven weeks, had announced the rescheduling of its eighth weekend series due to current happenings and occurrences to its staff.

The change, which was made via the ABDC’s official Twitter handle, explained that the schedule would have to be moved up “due to the ongoing protests in Nigeria and insecurities of the ABDC staffs, moderators and speakers”. The release was signed by the ABDC management and enjoins its Nigerian and other audiences to stay safe.

The eighth series, which was planned to address Blockchain in Real Estate, would now be moved to hold together with its twelfth series, which is scheduled to be the grand finale of the weekend series in the promotion of the adoption and participation in the blockchain sector. The series would now feature a synergy of Real Estate application, IoT and Smart Metering.
